Spring is Here!
Time to Make Plans to Join Us for Our Annual Breakfast

The third Thursday in May is a red letter day in Aurora. That's the day that the Fox Valley United Way Annual Breakfast invites social service agencies, donors, advocates and volunteers to celebrate life changing events that are happening in our community.

The breakfast is our opportunity to honor those who have selflessly reached out to help those in need. Once again this year, we will hear powerful testimonies from individuals who have new hope because of the assistance they have received from the social service organizations that we support together. Add in delicious food, excellent music and lively conversation, and it makes for a great morning!

Souper Bowl of Caring a "Souper" Success
A special thank you to the stores, volunteers and donors who made this year's Souper Bowl of Caring a triumph! Hosted by area Jewel-Osco stores and Prisco's Family Market, our volunteers gathered 2,400 pounds of food and collected $8,246.91 in cash donations. These monetary gifts gave the Aurora Area Interfaith and Kendall County food pantries the ability to purchase over $65,000 of food. This is a 40% increase over last year!
Special thanks to East Aurora High School NJROTC, Old Second National Bank and the Aurora Noon Lions Club, who contributed $8 43.61, $684.00 and $500.00 respectively to the total.

We're proud to partner with local stores and recruit volunteers each year to participate in this nationwide event to support our area food pantries.
