We will travel to the National Cathedral to experience the Easter Vigil with fellow worshipers from all around the Diocese. Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry will preach. 
Passes required. Vigil begins at 8:00pm. Please RSVP by calling the parish office or emailing cmanhardt@epiphanydc.org.

April 2, 2016, 7:00pm- "Brava!" - A concert by DCDD's Capitol Pride Symphonic Band
Join D.C.'s Different Drummers' Capital Pride Symphonic Band as we explore the world of music from the viewpoint of women as composers and inspiration. The concert will features a number of genres and styles, including excerpts from Broadway's 'Wicked', 'Zephyrus by Mary Ellen Childs, 'Spring Festival' by Chen Yi, and many more. April 3, 2016, 4:00pm- Psalm-Enchanted Evening
Presented by the Washington Men's Camerata

April 10, 2016, 3:00pm- Spring into Spring!
Presented by the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic
Maestro James leads us into April with Appalachian Spring  by Aaron Copland. The Philharmonic will perform Copland's rich and colorful full orchestra version. Also iconic in capturing the essence of spring is Danish Composer Carl Nielsen's enchanting " Springtime in Funen,"  performed by the acclaimed NOVA Community Chorus conducted by Dr. Mark Whitmire. Finally, the Philharmonic will showcase Robert Schuman's joyful and lyrical " Springsymphonyhis Symphony #1. For more information and tickets, please visit the WMPA  website .

Parish Announcements
There will be no nursery caregiver or Godly Play on Easter Sunday. Children are always welcome in worship at Epiphany. We encourage parents to make use of the children's worship space located in the west transept. 

The Easter bunny needs help!:The Easter bunny needs help in order to provide Easter eggs to our Welcome Table guests on Easter morning! First, the Easter bunny needs 18 dozen hard boiled white eggs.  Please take bag from the Community Hall, fill it with 1 dozen hard boiled white eggs and leave it in the refrigerator in the kitchen no later than 10:00am Holy Saturday morning. Second , join us between 10:30 and noon (or so) on Holy Saturday in the Community Hall to dye the eggs.  You do not have to bring a child in order to participate in the fun . . . but kids of all ages are welcome and we do have a good time!  We will have hot cross buns, coffee and juice and lots of fun, so  join us in having fun and bringing Easter joy to our friends from Welcome Table! Questions?
