In the Stix Broadband
Education Classes

Michele Clapper
VP of Economic Development

Since 2008, In the Stix (ITX) Broadband has been providing quality residential and business internet and IT services to Cambria County and the surrounding areas. One key initiative of ITX is to work with the PA Department of Community & Economic Development to bring internet to under-served areas.

As part of this partnership, ITX also offers FREE broadband education classes to the community. The courses, which take place weekly in the evenings, aim to show participants how technology and the internet can enrich their lives. The program covers a wide-variety of topics, including how to use the computer to work on personal finances, build a resume, engage with social media, stream online content, and more. All sessions are held at St. Michael's Catholic School in Loretto, and the topic of each class will be jointly chosen by the participants in attendance that evening. To learn more and register for a class, visit the website here.

If you'd like to learn more about about ITX in general, you're invited to attend a free Town Hall Meeting slated for 7 PM on April 11 at the Central Cambria High School Auditorium in Ebensburg. Guests can enjoy refreshments, learn about broadband services, and sign up for classes. For more information about the Town Hall event, call (814) 472-2662.
