Easter Eve Vigil
7:30PM The Great Vigil
Choral Holy Eucharist
Our Easter Vigil is the first celebration of Easter, including a beautiful candlelit opening, a baptism, a choral anthem with trumpet and organ, and many traditional hymns and chants.
"Bring a Dish to Share"
Join us after the 7:30PM service in the McClain Room. This is a "Bring a Dish to Share" style event. Think "one bite" appetizers such as, but not restricted to, shrimp, mini quiche or pastries, sushi, cheese puffs, mini meatballs or crostini. Simply arrange your savories on an attractive plate and place it on the buffet table in the McClain room before the service. We will do the rest including opening the wine.
It's as easy as that so call or email Darlene and tell her what you will bring. See you there!
Sunday, March 27: Easter Day
9:00AM Choral Holy Eucharist
11:00AM Choral Holy Eucharist
Children should bring a basket to participate in the Easter egg hunt following the 9AM service.

The Great Vigil on Saturday was initially the primary Easter celebration in the early church. It was a night-long service that ended at dawn with the baptism of new Christians.

Saving Your Grand Receipts Helps
Support Youth Mission Trip
This is a slam-dunk fundraiser because we all shop at our wonderful local grocery store (some a lot more frequently than others.) The Grand Food Center (Winnetka & Glencoe) has agreed to sponsor our mission trip and you can help! Save all your receipts and place them in the labeled collection cans in the Prevost Cloister, McClain Room, Youth Ministry credenza, and church office. The Grand will give us 3% of all money spent at their store (before taxes). This will be an on-going endeavor so that we can build a base for scholarships and offset travel costs. We appreciate your support!
