• October is a Fall Membership Drive Month!!!  Why are we working toward boosting membership?  Representation in the 3-in-one levels of membership, our Local (the HBASC), the State (Colorado Association of Home Builders - CAHB), and National levels (National Association of Home Builders - NAHB), gives us power in numbers in networking, discounts, education, and a greater voice in the political arena, and in shaping policies  beneficial to our industry. Those NOT members are riding the wave of YOUR commitment free of charge!
• Do Business with Members - give your peers in the HBASC a chance FIRST to offer you goods and services, so we can make our membership strong! We offer prime benefits of networking, education and support, not available in any similar group.
• Labor Shortages:  Our biggest promotional event of the year, the Parade, is just a week behind us. With proceeds of ticket sales, together we will invest in the next generation of contractors with scholarships - to the tune of $10,000! Last year, we awarded 2 architectural students and a student studying Engineering with HBASC scholarships. But we hope to do MORE in varied levels of training and education. 
• Associates & Bachelors degrees, Vocational and Technical training, and more. We hope to encourage our local high schools to make commitments to Careers, Training and Education in careers in construction industries with big salary payoffs. Come to our member meeting in November to learn more, and hear about internships!
