Please meet in front of the parking lot on the sand at Torrey Pines State Park Beach
San Diego, California.
We will service Easter eggs, hot cross buns with hot tea and coffee after the worship.
All are welcome.
We will offer an anointing ritual as we enact the holy union of Mary Magdalene and Jesus who were connected through out the ministry of Jesus, the crucifixion, the "harrowing of hell" the resurrection and eternal life.
We will ritually kiss Mary Magdalene, the "Sleeping Beauty" and divine feminine AWAKE! She who has been left out of Christian culture and tradition is being reinstated, resurrected. The most often repeated phrase in the Bible is "fear not." Come celebrate the fearlessness of Mary Magdalene and Jesus as we contemplate our death and our eternal life and God's love that goes beyond space and time. The Christ-Sophia is alive in spring, hope and the resurrection.
Also join us for regular services every Sunday (but not Easter) at 5 pm at 13014 Calle de Las Rosas, SD, CA 92129.
Followed by a soup pot luck, bonfire and star gazing and dancing weather permitting.
Mission Statement
Encouraging awe of creation and the cosmos, we explore the visual and performing arts, dreams, wisdom teachings of Christ-Sophia in the Bible and newly found gospels, prayer, social activism, and relationships as we work to care for our common home Mother Earth, in a new kind of local and global community. We are a home church with people around the world via the Internet, exploring a new religious story for our time. Vision Our vision is to spiritually awaken and raise the consciousness of our human species about the sacred nature of all life and our interconnectedness in order to save life on earth and love God/dess with all our hearts, souls and minds and creation as ourselves.
Join Rev. Bonnie at the
Center for Process Studies
at the Claremont School of Theology
for a conference on the book,
