Calling all Artists!
Forty, yes
40 sharks and 5 Coast Guard boats will be exhibited at Kate Gould Park, May 13 through June 29, then down to the Eldredge Public Library for the duration of the summer. Each shark will be sponsored by a Chatham business and each business will be looking for an artist to paint or embellish their shark or boat.
The sharks measure
approximately 5' long
& are mounted on steel rods.
Artists: If you are interested in painting or creating a shark design, please come to the Creative Arts Center, 154 Crowell Road, Chatham, Thursday, March 24th from 5 to 6pm to meet with Business Owners who will need your input and expertise. Artists will receive 50% of the auction price.

'selfies' while they
swam in the Park, and got a lot of press in many magazines & newspapers too.
