Teens Celebrate Shakespeare!

To celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death and the First Folio of his works visiting the Currier Museum of Art, we are honoring Shakespeare through these fun events.

Shakespeare/Star Wars Read-Aloud
Saturday, April 2 from 12 PM to 1 PM
We'll explore Ian Doescher's books which rewrote the  original Star Wars trilogy in the language of William
 Shakespeare. Read aloud your favorite Star Wars scenes as they would have been written in the 1600's.  For teens in 6th grade and up. Registration is 
appreciated.
Shakespeare Movie/BINGO
Wednesday, April 13 at 6 PM
Come watch this 90's adaptation of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew starring Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger (PG-13; Runtime: 98 minutes) while playing a game of BINGO using references to Shakespeare. Get BINGO and win a prize! For teens in 8th grade and up. Registration is not required.
Please note that this movie is rated PG-13.
