Important update about LaPlace 0-5
Quebec Government issues all children register in LaPlace0-5.
The goal of the centralized waiting list, "LaPlace 0-5" is to assure that all children living in Quebec are given an equal opportunity to have a spot in a daycare.

It is very important to register your newborn in the centralized waiting list regardless of when you  actually   plan on sending him/her.  Registration of new children will only be done through this system.

In addition:
  • A parent should call their community CPE of choice and let them know they plan on placing their child on the wait list.
  • Do the registration on Laplace 0-5.com
  • Call the CPE to confirm you called and give them the child's code.
  • Every six months reconfirm your spot on the waiting list or your name is will be dropped.
