A literal field trip

Last week CES third graders experienced a fine day for a field trip - literally - when they visited the home of the Braves at Turner Field. Below, they enjoyed behind-the-scenes tours in addition to the public spaces. Check out more photos of this special treat on the CES Facebook page.

Letters to CHS seniors
due Thursday, April 14

Traditions started several years ago have turned into two of the most anticipated hallmarks of a Carrollton High School senior's year - the senior breakfast, followed by the presentation of senior letters.

Please help make this a special event for the seniors by sending a letter to a friend, sibling, son or daughter, or student or former student. Please use standard letter-size envelopes, and do not include bulky enclosures or packages. Include the student's first and last name on the outside of the envelope.

All administrative offices at CHS will have boxes designated for letter drop-off. You may also mail your notes to the following address:

CHS Student Council
c/o Ms. Jeanne Swindle
202 Trojan Drive
Carrollton, Georgia 30117

Be sure to include the student's name on the front of the envelope.

The amount of letters received makes this process very time-consuming; therefore, organizers ask that your letters arrive no later than Thursday, April 14. Due to volume and time constraints, they will be unable to print emailed messages. Only envelopes sent to CHS or dropped off at the school by the deadline will be filed in the packets.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to participate in this special program.
Sports Dress Up Day Friday
Carrollton Elementary School will be sponsoring Sports Dress Up Day this Friday, March 25. Students may dress up in sports clothes and bring $1. This is one of many fundraisers to support the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
