EARNED INCOME CREDIT
Did you know that California has a new "Earned Income Credit" for parents? The important thing to remember is that even if you aren't required to pay taxes due to your income level, you will not receive the credit unless you file. Here's some more helpful info on the subject:

CHILD NUTRITION REAUTHORIZATION
Senate bill 1833, the Child Nutrition Reauthorization is moving forward in the next few weeks. Let your senator know that you feel it's important that children in caregiving situations for more than 8 hours a day have an additional snack. For information on how to contact Senators, click here:
