Welcome to August....Taste the Rainbow
So I've been at TireSocks, Inc. for almost two months now...and here's what I've learned NOT TO DO. 1. DO NOT mix Skittles in with M&Ms! What does this have to do with TireSocks? We have a candy dispenser in our lobby, and it's my job to keep it full. The candy of choice is M&Ms. While polling for additional candy options a voice said, "Skittles". So I got some Skittles and mixed them in with the M&Ms. I had more complaints about how horrible it is to get a fruity Skittle when what you really want is chocolate. So no more Skittles in the M&Ms! 2. DO NOT climb on the shelving to get, or replace product. The answer is obvious. Stefanie even warned me about this on the first day..."No matter how bad you want to climb on the shelves, DO NOT DO IT," she said. Well, I was in a hurry and stuff/people were in my way, so it was easier and quicker to climb the shelves. I missed a step on the way down, and received a mild concussion. I'm recovering just fine, but it's slow going...and was pretty scary. I ride horses, and this fall was worse than any of the falls I've had off of a horse. Tile/slab flooring is not forgiving! So my apologies to everyone for my lack of short term memory when you call and get me on the phone. 3. TireSocks Customers are AWESOME! You all are so wonderful, friendly, funny, and understanding. If you can make me laugh or smile, then you make my day. Thank you! We truly appreciate you and your business. 4. TireSocks Initiation - "Into the Frying Pan," as Jarrett called it. This is what happens when Patti is out sick and you have a record setting day in taking orders. Be sure to check out our fun Patti-ism video for an Inside Look into TireSocks, Inc.
