  • On Friday, February 26th, NCS will be hosting the ACSI Speech Meet on our Northwest Campus at the NCC Cook Center.  As you know, to conduct the Meet takes many volunteers.  Please consider helping by clicking on the SignupGenius here.   • Re-Enrollment emails went out to all currently enrolled families on 1/12/16 and again on 1/21/16. If you are unable to locate your re-enrollment email that includes your student's personalized link, please check all email addresses on record and spam mail as well as Parent Portals under the "forms" tab before contacting the admissions office at [email protected]. The deadline to re-register for the 2016-2017 school-year is 2/12/16.  
  • From the Finance Office: 
    • ACSTO changed their disbursement dates this year.  Applications are due by Jan 31, 2016 for the February/March disbursements.  They will disburse original funds the 3 rd week in February.
    • Plus /Overflow funds will be disbursed the 1 st  week of March.  They will disburse original funds again the 1 st week of May and Plus/Overflow funds the 3 rd week of May.  The summer disbursements will be in August and September and the fall will be in November.  You can apply online at ACSTO.org.   You will need to complete a 16/17 application for the summer and fall disbursements.
    • AZTO applications are due by February 28, 2016 for their March disbursement.  You can apply online at AZTO.org

    • Middle School Dodge Ball Tournament :  Thursday, January 28th in the fenced in basketball court from 5:30-7:30pm. Team entry forms are available from the bulletin board in the middle school hallway. Teams should have a minimum of 8 players, maximum 10. Cost to play is $2.00 per person if sign up and pay by 3:00pm, Wednesday, January 27th. Late entries are accepted but the per person cost will be $3.00. You are  only  allowed to sign-up for one team. We will set up three brackets: All Boys, All Girls, Mixed (minimum of three of each gender). We are taking team orders for pizzas and will have water, Gatorade, and candy bars for sale. Prizes will be given to the winners. Remember to come up with a team name and dress with team spirit.

  • If you have not turned in your 8th graders kinder age photo to Mrs. Webb in the secondary office, please do so asap!!  They can also be emailed in a Jpeg format to [email protected] Please note that this is a different photo than the photos used for the yearbook.  We will be making a slideshow for the 8th grade promotion ceremony with the photos and would like every students picture.

  • For reasons outside of the school's control, Northwest Christian will not be eligible to become an official ACT testing location until the 2016/2017 school year. For this reason, the April 19th on-campus ACT test has been cancelled and we are moving forward with a different opportunity to ensure all juniors can take the test at the school's expense. Please reference the email sent home on Friday which further details this information.

Secondary Jog-a-thon Information

  • Students who turn in their minimum mailers*by 10:50am Monday may pick-up their "free dress"** wrist band outside the main office after school Monday afternoon.  Free dress will begin on Tuesday morning for those who have a wrist band.
  • Students who turn in their minimum mailers*by 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of this week may pick-up their "free dress"** wrist band outside the main office after school the day they are turned in.  Free dress will begin on the following school day for those who have a wristband.
* Please note: incomplete or incorrectly filled out flyers may delay the issuing of a wrist band.  Thanks for checking mailers carefully before turning them in.
 
** Please see below for the definition of "free dress".  Middle School and High School are able to wear "out-of-dress code" as a reward for Jogathon.
  • No fitted yoga pants/leggings
  • Shirts are to be modest - no off the shoulder, tank tops, or spaghetti straps
  • Shorts or skirts should be the same length as school approved uniform
  • T-shirts are ok but should not have potentially offensive graphics or writing
