Ring 199 Logo

The month of May marks the 45th Anniversary of the Wallace Lee - Dick Snavely Ring #199! Forty-Five exciting years of bringing quality magic to the Heart of North Carolina! Help us celebrate by joining us for our

FAMILY FLING POT-LUCK

and

PEOPLES' CHOICE COMPETITION

FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME!

Please bring your favorite covered casserole, vegetable, pasta, or dessert. The Ring will provide beverages and entree meats. The Ring will also provide all tableware, plates, cups, napkins, and necessary incidentals.

The Peoples' Choice Competition is a fun opportunity to show your best work before a supportive audience. Competition categories are Close-Up, Youth, and Parlor/Stage.

All performances are limited to a max of five (5) minutes. Performances exceeding five minutes are automatically disqualified.  Time begins at the point that the act has clearly or can be logically assumed to have begun. Performers sign up at the start of the meeting.

Youth performers (15 & younger) will perform first. Youth may perform close-up, parlor, or stage during their 5-minute set. At the end of this segment, performers are reintroduced and audience members are asked to write the name of their favorite performer on their ballots.

Close-Up performers (16 & older) will perform next. Performers will present their act at the front of the room and may stand or be seated as they wish.  At the end of this segment, performers are reintroduced and audience members are asked to write the name of their favorite performer on their ballots.

Parlor/Stage acts (16 & older) perform last.  Pretty much anything goes in this segment as long as it stays below the 5-minute mark. At the end of this segment, performers are reintroduced and audience members are asked to write the name of their favorite performer on their ballots.

Performers 16 and older may choose to compete in both the Close-Up and Parlor/Stage categories.

Awards will be given to Peoples' Choice Champions. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.

Come and join the fun!  Help us celebrate our 45th Anniversary in style!
