25th Annual Spring Rebuilding Day underway!

Rebuilding Together Seattle's 25th Annual Spring Rebuilding Day is less than two months away! This year our signature program event (launched in April 1990) will commemorate our 25th year of service to the greater Seattle community.

On Saturday April 25th, volunteers will restore 25 homes and nonprofit facilities with roughly 1,000 volunteers.  Project locations will span from Shoreline to Burien.  A special presentation will be made that day to the Junior League of Seattle in celebration of their 25th consecutive Spring Rebuilding Day project with RTS!

Rebuilding Together Seattle is grateful for the support of over 20 sponsors who will make our 25th Annual Spring Rebuilding Day possible.  RTS sends a special thanks to top sponsors Greenpoint Technologies, Wells Fargo, Booz Allen Hamilton, Perkins Coie, Sears, and Stratos.

If you or your company would like to get involved with Rebuilding Together Seattle for Spring Rebuilding Day, please contact Caleb Marshall, Program Director, at [email protected].  RTS is currently looking for skilled volunteers who can lend their home repair skills to volunteer teams, and companies who are willing to provide in-kind donations of skilled labor, project materials, equipment rentals, or volunteer food!

Over $9,000 raised at 2nd Annual Sip & Support!

On Saturday, January 24, more than 80 young professionals gathered at Wine World in Wallingford for the second annual 'Sip & Support' fundraiser! With the support of our event sponsor, PMI, and our event donors and attendees, over $9,000 was raised to fund volunteer projects through the RTS Young Professionals Society (YPS) to help low income homeowners in need.

Highlights from the evening included wine tasting from the excellent selection available at Wine World, beer tasting with four different brews from Hilliard's Beer, delicious appetizers from TaDah Catering, indoor Bocce ball, a silent auction, three raffles, and many new faces learning about the work of Rebuilding Together Seattle and the Young Professionals Society. Rebuilding Together Seattle also presented a special award to YPS Leadership Team member, Veronika Smith-Archiapatti who was named the 2014 YPS Member of the Year!

RTS thanks PMI, Hillard's Beer, Wine World, TaDah Catering, and our event volunteers and auction donors for your generosity.  RTS also sends a special thanks to our Development Intern, Sarah Foster, for her many efforts to making Sip and Support a big success.  Stay tuned for next year!
