TechOnTap at Tin Whistle is a free event with happy hour specials. Stop by then come on over to TNT for more networking with food and beverages provided. Purchasing tickets at the door is possible, but rates are higher for walk-ins.

Founders and Funders Tech Night Takeover (TNT), 5:30-8:30 PM

WHAT: New for 2016, and the next great thing to improve CBIC's TNT events, we launch this speaker series to focus on starting and growing tech startups in Charlottesville.
Our kickoff event features Kevin Combs, Managing Partner of Keswick Pharmaceuticals and  CEO of BeHealth Solutions, in conversation with moderator Alex Euler. At this and future TNT Founders and Funders series events, you'll hear success stories and in-the- trenches insights from regional players in the entrepreneurial, startup, tech ecosystem and from startup founders and investors who will demystify:
  • unlocking our region's assets for supporting tech and innovation-based startups
  • where to incubate and accelerate your tech or innovation based startup
  • how to get in front of the right investors
  • how to maximize your chances of getting funded
Note: our monthly recurring TechOnTap will be held the same night at Tin Whistle Irish Pub in conjunction with our March TNT event, which will be held next door at CvilleMachine. Come to TechOnTap at 5:00, then come over to TNT at 5:30 for more networking with food and beverages provided. Purchase your TNT tickets in advance (walk-in rates are higher).

WHAT: Ce2 series is a casual, caffeine-fueled gathering of learning for entrepreneurs at all stages of venture creation.

WHEN:
 3rd Tuesdays Monthly
8:00 -10:00 a.m.
 
WHERE:    i.Lab at U.Va.

PARKING: It's FREE! Just park behind the iLab in D5 Lot. No tag required.

FORMAT:  Networking over coffee, a pitch from an early stage entrepreneur with time for Q&A and lessons learned from a seasoned entrepreneur. Check out the CE2 website for what's being brewed for this month.

NEW INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: If City schools close or are delayed on the morning of a scheduled CE2, then that month's  CE2 will be cancelled.
