Freedom From Smoking Certification

On October 14, Kentucky CancerLink staff attended a certification class to be Freedom From Smoking Facilitators.  With this certification we will be able to provide Kentuckians with tools and education for smoking cessation, including classes and one-on-one assistance.

The KCL team is excited about this opportunity to broaden our mission!

STAY TUNED for updates on the Kentucky CancerLink Freedom From Smoking Program!

Out and A bout
The month of October is always a busy one for Kentucky CancerLink.  We are thankful for the support that we receive for breast cancer patients in Kentucky.  We are proud to be grantees of both Susan G. Komen Lexington Affiliate, Susan G. Komen Louisville Affiliate and the Breast Cancer Trust and Research Fund (Pink License Plate).  We are also amazed and honored when we are chosen by those in our state that hold Third Party Fundraisers on our behalf.

Be sure to visit Brighton Collectibles Fayette Mall!
Kentucky CancerLink is participating in the Power of Pink Event at Brighton Collectibles Fayette Mall.  Each Saturday, through the month of October, there will be a KCL staff member or volunteer in the store at Fayette Mall from 12-2 to discuss our mission.

In addition, with the purchase of the Brighton Collectible design of breast cancer items, 10% will be donated to Kentucky CancerLink and will go towards funds for our Kentucky breast cancer clients. Each year the design is different, making this gorgeous item truly a "collectible."

The Kentucky CancerLink Team works hard with fundraising efforts and are looking for grant opportunities that provide funding for all cancer diagnoses.  If you know of any grant opportunities, or would like to partner in support of Kentuckians on a cancer journey, please let us know!

With all of us working together, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
