10 Ways to Improve Your Emotional Health
Taking care of your emotional health is just as important as taking care of your physical body. When your emotional health is out of balance, you may experience physical symptoms such as high blood pressure, chest pain, or ulcers. When you feel great about yourself and your emotional health is balanced, it is much easier to deal with life's ups and downs. The Chorpa Center provides us with 10 ways to improve upon our emotional health.
  1. Spend Time In Nature
  2. Keep a Gratitude Journal
  3. Meditate
  4. Surround Yourself with Positive People
  5. Cultivate a New Hobby

If there is a topic you would like to know about or a tip that you would like to share with us, please email Morgan Taylor-Burns with your suggestions.

The corks are recycled and not put in landfills. Did you know that it takes over 1,500 gallons of water to grow the cotton required for just one pair of jeans and each American discards over 65 pounds of clothing per year? As a part of Gwinnett Tech's preparedness objective, we want to provide everyone with a safe and healthy learning environment. With the increase of incidents on college campuses, schools and public places, it is increasingly important to have a plan for how to respond in an active shooter situation. Students and employees can help prevent and prepare for potential active shooter situations by viewing the "Run, Hide, Fight - Surviving an Active Shooter Event" video. The video will assist you in planning for your personal safety. Click the image to the right to view the video.
