Come Ride. Come Play. Do Some Good Along The Way!
Pick A Ride & Have A Blast!
Springtime always brings some great rides along with it. Area clubs have lots of self supported rides going on every weekend. Each weekend, there are usually several area rides that offer organized support for the cyclists. Proceeds for these rides usually support a local cause or charity. Check out the offerings for this Saturday. I'll be out cycling the hills of Muenster (backwards).
Go Rural & Ride in Muenster
Saturday, 4/16 at 10:00AM

This ride has been popular since it started back in the 80's. Linked up with Germanfest, the ride packets include admission tickets and beer tickets for the local festival.

The routes are very hilly and the winds are usually a factor as well. With a 10am start, you can sleep in a bit before making the drive. The first 10 miles are rolling hills and wind, but it gets better on the backside. Just make sure to save money for the latter stages of the route, which includes the biggest hills of the ride. I especially like the big downhill out of St Jo.

The picture at the right was taken at the start of the ride back in 1988 or so when they had about 3,000 riders participating.

Spring Training

Our clients are currently going through what we call our "Spring Training/Summer Cycling" program.

We'll be at Muenster this weekend, riding what we call Muenster Backwards.

We'll be working on our hill climbing techniques as we ride the local rally routes in a counter'clockwise direction.

We ride 2 Saturdays each month and have 2 training rides each week.
