Our volunteer spotlight is Ryan Rodriguez!  He has helped us with our moves, donation pick-ups and at our storage unit.  He is very eager to help and is a great asset to Furnishing Dignity!

We would love to have your help with one of our moves.  You can see first hand the transformation of house to home!  Email us to be added to our volunteer list.  An email is sent at the beginning of the month with the dates/times.

OurMissionatwork Our mission at work
In February and March, we helped 12 households totaling 15 adults and 25 children. We are proud to have been able to help them with the furnishings needed to transform their house into a home.

Shaira, a recent client, thanked us saying, "You've made our house a home... We could not have accomplished this without you."

And we cannot continue to accomplish this without you, our in-kind and monetary donors. Thank you for your support of our mission!

IMPACTfulAwardNomineeIMPACTful Award Nominee

What an honor to be nominated during our first year i n operation!  This year the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce launched an award to honor and highlight nonprofits. The IMPACTful Award recognizes the value of nonprofits in the Valley, while also taking into consideration the unique situation, scope and abilities of a nonprofit organization. While we didn't make it as a finalist, we are very proud to have been nominated in our first year of operations.  Best of luck to the four nonprofit finalists!

On behalf of the clients we serve, thank you for your generous support on AZ Gives Day.  We raised almost $6,500. There are many individuals and families transitioning from homelessness to self-sufficiency that will have a better night's sleep because of you!

A special thank you to our matching donor, Leroy Ball, who matched donations that day up to $2,500.

Thank you to Hollywood Bed & Spring Mfg. Co., Inc. who generously donated 89 of their discontinued bed frames.  These bed frames go hand in hand with the mattresses so our transitioning individuals and families can get a good night's sleep.  Thank you Jon and the rest of Hollywood Bed & Spring Mfg. Co. for supporting our mission!

Will and Stacey Lykins, Realtors with West USA-

By allowing us to use their moving truck, Will and Stacey Lykins have saved Furnishing Dignity over $1,100.  We can't thank them enough and we look forward to continuing our partnership in 2016!

Gammaville, LLC -
By providing very generous financial support, Lois Flynn, General Manager, has helped Furnishing Dignity accomplish our mission.  With Gammaville's generous financial support, we provided over 60 new mattresses to our clients and their children.

Get Your Move On LLC - By providing his mover's time, talent, and truck to help with our client moves, Derek Greene has saved Furnishing Dignity over $2,100.  Thanks a million and we look forward to continuing our partnership in 2016!

Terri's Consign and Design - While we just partnered with Terri Bowersock in December, she has been very giving in this short amount of time.  She has helped Furnishing Dignity save money on the purchase of our mattresses - this is our largest expense as we provide new mattresses to our clients.  Terri has also donated excess furniture to us and is allowing us to store our furniture overstock at her warehouse.  Thank you Terri!

We are very blessed to have the support of two Realtors - Gina Anderson, Berkshire Hathaway Home Services and Kim and Henry Helfenbein, Re/Max Infinity. We have received many referrals of gently used furniture and household items from them.  Thank you!
