St. Bonaventure's College Alumni Newsletter

Welcome Back. 


Come roam the halls of St. Bon's again and laugh and reminisce with old friends.

All alumni are invited to join us for our First Annual Alumni Weekend May 1-2, 2015.  

All events are free admission but registration is appreciated. It helps us know how many to expect. 

Schedule of Events

Friday May 1st

Social: Grab a drink, grab a snack and mingle with fellow classmates, staff and alumni. Held in the Aula, doors open at 8 PM

Saturday May 2nd

School Tour: Take a walk through time as we take you on a tour of the building, featuring photos, momentos and information on St. Bonaventure's College history and our exceptional alumni! Tour departs Mullock Hall at 11 am.

Alumni/Family Mass: Bring your family to the first ever all-alumni & family Mass in the Chapel. Mass begins at 4:30 pm and coffee and treats will be served in the Aula after Mass.
Register before March 31st to be entered to win a St.Bon's Alumni shirt.

Alumni Anna Westin

Anna Westin '06 released her first EP recently. 
Her biography and link to samples of her music are below.
Congratulations Anna!

Nordic singer/songwriter Anna Westin grew up along the rocky coastline of  Canada and Sweden. Her early musical memories were an exploration of vocal and instrumental harmonisation in choirs and small ensembles. Though now based in London, Anna feels most at home in the resonance of Celtic/Scandinavian sound, and enjoys using music to explore new ways of connecting and storytelling.

St. Bonaventure's College Ignatius Society
Dedicated to helping families in need of Tuition Assistance. 
Each year St. Bonaventure's College opens it's doors to youth who strive to become "Men and Women for and with Others" through the educational traditions of the Jesuits. 

This education moulds them to become adults who are competent, compassionate and conscience. St. Bonaventure's College offers this educational experience to all regardless of economic circumstances through our Bursary Assistance Program. 

The challenge and mission of the Ignatius Society is to make sure that no child is unable to attend St. Bonaventure's College because of financial reasons. Last year a number of families were unable to receive bursary assistance because of lack of funds. 

With your support of only $84 a month you can help ensure that this does not happen in the future.   If you are interested in the Ignatius Society and supporting the Bursary Assistance Program please contact Jennifer Cummings, jcummings@stbons.ca or 726-0024 ext 214.
