100 S. Old Woodward Project Update
Please note the 100 S. Old Woodward Ave. building project is at a critical point that will require the operation of a crane on Maple Rd. for a one week period, starting  Monday, April 18 .  During this period, Maple Rd. will be narrowed to two through lanes from Pierce St. to just east of Old Woodward Ave.  Please note the following:
  • No Left Turns will be allowed for westbound Maple Rd. traffic at Pierce St. and Old Woodward Ave.  The usual daytime ban for left turning at Henrietta St. will be removed to compensate for these restrictions.
  • No pedestrian traffic will be allowed on the south side of Maple Rd. between Pierce and Old Woodward.  Signs will direct pedestrians to the north side.
  • A small number of parking spaces (2 or 3 each) will be temporarily closed on the north side of Maple Rd. at Henrietta St. east of Old Woodward Ave.
  • The sidewalk on the west side of Old Woodward Ave. will generally remain open.  However, there will be times when steel is being erected very close to this sidewalk.  During these times, flagpeople will be stationed to keep people from getting too close to this area.
The lane closure will be set up on  Saturday, April 16, and is planned to be returned to normal during the weekend of  April 23.
