EASTGATE SOUTH DRIVE ROUNDABOUT
CLOSURE STARTS MONDAY
Closure will continue for two weeks,
through Friday, April 29
Access to local businesses will be maintained
We're getting closer to completing the Eastgate South Drive Roundabout. Crews will  be placing asphalt, pavement markings, signage, and other final details, which will require a closure beginning Monday, April 18 to Friday, April 29, weather permitting.

This is the final phase of the project. Once this work is complete and the road is reopened, we will have a fully-functional roundabout that will improve safety and travel through this high-traffic and popular retail destination.

Below is a map of the recommended detour, as well as a video published by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Please take a few minutes to remind yourself of how to safely enter and exit roundabouts.

Click the image above to view a map of the detour.

Located in Union Township, the intersection of Eastgate South Drive and Clepper Lane serves traffic coming from five separate entry points (three public roadways and two private property drives). This project will replace traffic signals with a roundabout.   The roundabout will improve the flow of traffic, enhance safety and reduce congestion in this busy retail area.
