NEW Mars Candy Rebate Program
Save Money on Products You Already Buy!
We are pleased to announce this new rebate opportunity with one of the larger candy manufacturers. Mars brands are well known and loved by many theater guests across the country and beyond. Their brands are likely well represented in your locations currently.
The Mars Rebate Program will allow any member selling these brands to receive quarterly rebates on all products as outlined in the Mars Rebate Program documents. There you will find: Mars 2016 Theatre Operator Program Agreement, The rebates are retroactive back to January 1, 2016 and available to all active CBG members.
Program elements include:
- Rebate payouts beginning at three (3) SKUs
- Rebate amounts range from 4% up to 12%
- Members purchasing from CCSI, Vistar, Liberty Distribution and Great Western will have no reporting requirements to secure rebates, as these four (4) distributors are all "Eligible" and "Reporting" distributors.
If your current distributor is not on the "Eligible Distributor" list, Mars is willing to expand the current list to qualify other distribution partners. If your distributor is not currently a "Reporting Distributor" with Mars, they have committed to share reporting formats and offer technical assistance to distributors in order to promote more reporting distributors and forego manual reporting efforts.

Indie Marketing Coalition
Several Key Program Benefits to be Announced at CinemaCon 2016
If you previously signed up for the IMC, at this point you should have been contacted by 2656 Marketing, you have received the IMC agreement for signature, and you had the opportunity to participate in an IMC webinar on the 10th of February. The committed companies that signed up for the program represented the eq
uivalent of ~8% of domestic box office revenue
(DBOR). That representation provid
ed the significant presence that gave 2656 Marketing the confidence to move forward with program execution. The initial process of program execution is to se
cure signed agreements from the previously committed members. As of this writing approximately half of the committed members have executed the IMC agreement (approximately 4% of DBOR). We are extremely grateful to those that have executed their agreements, but the reality is this 4% total is not
compelling to the studios and will not provide the necessary scale to promote studio interest in supporting this program.
We need member action to continue progress in this program.
If you have previously signed up for the IMC, please immediately sign your agreement and return it to 2656 Marketing. If you need questions answered or want to find out more about the IMC, please reach out to
