Demographic Update Shows Continued Growth for Katy Area
 
During last night's Katy ISD Board of Trustees Meeting, Dr. Pat Guseman with Population and Survey Analysts (PASA) presented the District's 2015 Demographic Update and provided student enrollment projections for the next 10 years. 

According to PASA, the District will continue to see an average of 2,000 new students every year. Given such projections, Katy ISD is expected to reach 86,422 students by 2020 and 98,910 students by 2025. Read more...
Katy ISD Receives Top Rating in Schools FIRST Financial Accountability Rating System
 
Katy ISD has earned the highest rating possible under the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) for the 2013-2014 fiscal year. While numerous changes were made to the rating system this year, Katy ISD still passed all four indicators and received 30 out of 30 points. Read more...
Katy ISD Partners in Education Kicks Off 14th Annual Food for Families Campaign
 
The Katy ISD Partners in Education Department is once again inviting the community to support families in need this holiday season. Food for Families is an annual campaign that provides $50 grocery gift cards to Katy ISD students and their families. Katy ISD Parent and Patron Assistance Center

The Parent & Patron Assistance Center (PPAC) is a confidential resource that serves the Katy ISD community by helping to address concerns, complaints, conflict and other school-related issues in an informal manner on behalf of the Superintendent. The Coordinator is available to listen to and analyze problems; identify and explain relevant District policies and procedures; and explore options for parents and patrons.
