Final Exams Schedule
Final examinations for underclassmen are scheduled for Thursday, June 2; Friday, June 3; and Monday, June 6.  It is important that all students are present for these exams.  Please do not arrange vacations during these days.  Student trips or vacations will not be approved.  Students will not be permitted to take a make-up exam due to a trip.

June 3       English & Foreign Language
June 6      Math & Social Studies
 
These exam days are half days with usual dismissal around 11 AM.  School district's adjust their pick-up time to accommodate our early dismissal.  Students testing in the AAC may be dismissed at a later time.
Retreat - Grade 11
The Junior Retreat will be held on Tuesday, April 19, at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Mechanicsburg.  To tie in with the Year of Mercy and the students' study of Morality, our topic will be Forgiveness.  We will hear about the Amish response to the Nickel Mines tragedy and then apply forgiveness as a class as we prepare for Senior year.

Service Hours Deadline
Service Hours for the 2015-2016 school year are due soon!  

Seniors need to submit all of their hours by Friday, April 22. 

The 7th through 11th grade hours are due Monday, May 2.  

Corporal works of mercy are an important part of Christian life, and our life as a YC community.  Keep an eye out for service opportunities from now until the due dates if you are in need of doing a bit more.
YC Night at Chick-fil-A

Spring Flower Sale
Get your flowers for Mother's Day or spring gardening!  The York Catholic Home & School Organization is selling a variety of potted cool spring mix flowers for your patio or deck.  The order deadline is April 27.  Pickup is on Friday, April 29, from 7:30 AM-3:30 PM in the lobby.  This fundraiser benefits the Junior High field trips, 8th Grade Moving On Celebration, and Junior Ring Reception.  Click here for the order form and photos of your options.  
Reception Help Needed
We're looking for volunteers interested in helping plan, organize, and help with the Junior Ring Reception.  The reception takes place on Tuesday, June 7, immediately after the ring ceremony at approximately 2:00 PM.  Help is needed organizing the volunteers and the food for the event, setting up, serving, and cleaning up. Traditionally, the majority of volunteers are sophomore parents hosting the junior students and their parents.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact Roxanne Castellanos at   [email protected] .
