The Sportscar Vintage Racing Ass'n has revealed that Paul Tracy will return to competition at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Indy Legends Charity Pro-Am during the Brickyard Invitational on June 16-19.
Tracy is a seven-time starter in the Indianapolis 500 with a best finish of second in 2002 in a controversial result that still has bench-racers debating the outcome.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Foundation Inc. has confirmed that legendary motorcycle racer and stock car driver Paul Goldsmith, and U. E. "Pat" Patrick, who entered three winning cars in the Indianapolis 500, will be inducted this year into the Auto Racing Hall of Fame.
Selected by a panel of more than 100 experts in auto racing, Goldsmith and Patrick bring the number of individuals who have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to the sport of racing and to the development of the automotive industry to 152.

KVSH Racing has formed a partnership with the California Baptist University for the Verizon IndyCar season starting with the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
California Baptist University will be the primary sponsor of the KVSH No. 11 entry driven by Sebastien Bourdais for the Long Beach Grand Prix, April 15-17.

The last time D.J. Netto competed in a World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series race he dominated the Mini Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway on April 2, as he led 31 of the 40 laps, but ran out of fuel a handful of laps before the checkered flag waved.
"It definitely was a heartbreak for the team," said Netto, who sits 20th in the standings while only running a limited schedule. "It's nothing to get down about, we definitely had speed all night."

The Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions point chase will officially begin in a big way during the upcoming weekend, with three scheduled events on three consecutive nights in two states.
The series, accompanied by 14 full-time travelers from all areas of the northeast, led by six-time and defending champion Dale Blaney, will trek through areas of Ohio and Pennsylvania during their upcoming three-race excursion, competing for a top prize of $5,000 on all three nights.
