RACE LOCATION The ADPi Triathlon is held at the Middle Tennessee State Recreation Center located on 1848 Blue Raider Dr., Murfreesboro, TN. Parking: Parking for race participants will be available in the PARKING GARAGE NEXT to the Recreation Center.
Arrive early to park, check-in & get ready!
Please arrive no later than 6:30 AM .
The 8th annual ADPi Triathlon will have over 300 competitors with many new triathletes. Transition will open by 6 AM.
All racers must park, be body marked, rack bikes, pick-up timing chips and be ready by
7:45 AM. PRE-RACE MEETING outside pool area
this will be QUICK & SWEET. There will be an area to drop clothes outside pool area. Spectators will move onto pool deck ASAP after instructions. All athletes will be inside on deck prior to start.
TIMING -
Chips will be distributed on Saturday & race morning and returned immediately upon finishing the race. Timing splits and finish times will be recorded as you cross the timing mats.
$30 charge for not returning your chip.
Swim Leg - Indoor Pool -
Individual "Time Trial Start" approx. each 5 seconds based on time (fastest first). Pre-race meeting will be on the outdoor Sun deck where competitors will line up in start order before entering pool area. Fastest swimmers first, we will seed folks by time after the National Anthem. Swimmers will enter pool deck at far end from start. Each competitor race number will be recorded at start. Each person is to step into the pool and swim the length of the pool, duck under the lane lines and swim lane two and so on until you have completed 12 lengths. Please show your race number (on arm) before start.
Bike Leg -
ONE LOOP COURSE- ONLY COMPETITORS IN TRANSITION Area.
Bike racks are NOT numbered - FIRST COME RACKING.
Caution: The bike course contains two major road crossings at RUTHERFORD. Be extremely careful. All competitors will be going through the entire transition area.
NO RIDING IN THE TRANSITION AREA. Bike will be mounted and dismounted outside transition.Please review bike course map prior to the race. Stay to RIGHT on Blue Raider at beginning of course
RUN
INFORMATION:
RUNNERS MUST WEAR RACE NUMBER ON FRONT.
Exit transition area at far end on lot. Runners must cross timing mat exiting transition. Runners stay
LEFT on Blue Raider at start of course. Follow run course per map to finish. There are a few "out & back" sections - review map. Aid stations will have water on course
Awards and Prizes -
Finishers medals for all.
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female
finishers overall, top 3 male and female in 5 year age divisions
AND the top male and female finishers in the relay division. There will also be additional categories and prizes given. Door prizes will also be given and all participants are eligible.

Hammer Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon benefit the Loudon County Animal Shelter in memory of a special dog named "HAMMER". These early season USAT sanctioned events are in there 16th year in 2016. Come out for a great cause and test your off-season work! Tellico Recreation area construction was completed about a year ago & site ready to go! Water temperatures will be noted beginning early April.
Choose either a 400 meter swim in the triathlon or 5K run in the duathlon. Each event is followed by a 16 mile bike and 5 K run. Triathlon
- Swim in the cool, clear Tellico Lake. Water is expected to be wetsuit legal. Same bike and run courses are used in Triathlon and duathlon. Duathlon
: Both run courses use the TVA Tellico Recreation roads and paths for the 5K runs. Aid stations featuring products from Hammer Nutrition will be passed each mile of this rolling course.

Dickson Endurance Triathlon Details:
SWIM - 1 mile
- The swim takes place in Acorn Lake -
BIKE - 38 miles
- The bike is a flat to rolling bike course that is perfect for athletes of all abilities. Athletes will complete 2 1/2 laps with a water bottle exchange on back side of park at Hwy. 47 & Buddy Road.
RUN - 15 kilometers
- The run is a challenging out and back course with aid stations each mile.
IRON NUGGET DETAILS:
SWIM - .5 mile - The swim takes place in Acorn Lake - one loop.
BIKE - 17 miles - The bike is a flat to rolling bike course that is perfect for athletes of all abilities.
RUN - 5 kilometers - The run is a challenging out and back course with aid stations each mile. Both events benefit Friends of Montgomery Bell SP & Dickson HS ROTC program.
