A COMBINATION OF THE ARTS
Congratulations to our Student Ensemble! Stacey Dove was the Visiting Artist sponsor who, thanks to a National Endowment for the Arts - Challenge America Grant, provided voice coaching at the main campus. Our students worked
so hard on this beautiful rendition of The National Anthem for a Tae Kwon Do Tournament recently held at our campus...and we can hardly wait to see what they will perform for us on April 30, 2016, at our 12th Annual Evening Under the Oaks!! Awesome Job Everyone!!
Enjoy the video of the anthem- click here!

The tournament was a tremendous success for those who participated from Oak Grove as well as those who attended to test for their next level from around the valley. Big thank you to
Miss Sanchez of Menifee Valley Tae Kwon Do who has been instructing Martial Arts with our boys and girls for over a year now thanks to a grant from United Way. We love how Miss Sanchez is able to weave in the tenants of Honor, Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, Courage, Community, Strength, Humility and Knowledge through her teaching of our young ladies.

We are always thrilled when the entire family comes out to support their student! It is so very important in their development.
Encouragement is the key to success! When a youth comes to Oak Grove, at times their future can seem like an insurmountable challenge. We had the joy of hearing a Tale of Transformation presented by the staff member who nominated the youth. These awards were given to recognize significant improvement in an area of challenge
Our students had the opportunity to take the Double Dare Challenge over the next month to double their progress. A big thank you to our supporters who volunteered to be a MISTT Mentor over the next month, providing special encouragement with a phone call, postcard, and words of Encouragement! We invite you to the next MISTT Awards on April 21 at 1:15 in the library. Mark your calendar!

Multicultural Celebration Spectacular!
Our Oak Grove at the Ranch staff did an amazing job putting together our Multicultural celebration. Miesha, Eric and Stacey were instrumental in this event thanks in part to a grant from the S. L. Gimbel Foundation Advised Fund at The Community Foundation - Inland Southern California, and our recent National Endowment for the Arts – Challenge America Grant. Our Oak Grove at The Ranch kids, teamed up with their main campus counter-parts to be taught by one of the most established dancers in the music video industry, Kimmie Morrow - who has danced with the biggest names in music, including Jay Z, Missy Elliot, Will Smith, Mandy Moore, and MC Hammer. Our kids were thrilled, and it shows!
Our Annual Multi-Cultural Fair brought a taste of the world to our campus for students to enjoy as cl
assrooms were assigned different countries to study, and the kids were tasked to create travel brochures, posters, samples of their countries' national dish, drinks, even dances! Students were given mini passports to 'travel" from country to country learning about the culture of each through taste, touch, sight and sound.
