This is the first of three posts on the topic of going in and going BIG. I could talk for a while on this topic, but I'll try to keep it compact. Let's start with our actual shape.
I watched a woman hiding behind her car this afternoon, smoking a cigarette, then she walked back to the building with her head looking straight down at the ground. I was whispering to her subconscious, "Look up. Look up." (I do this often, actually, and beautifully, it often works!) She didn't look up.
Our body shape is yelling to the world how we feel inside. Our head, our chest, our hips, our legs, our hands.
They mirror each other so much that even if we take on a body shape or contraction by choice, we will soon feel INSIDE the way we look outside (there's actual science on this!). So, this week, let's experiment with being BIG. Most specifically, shoulders back, head up, and long strides.
BIG takes up space. Big says, "I am here." Big doesn't make excuses. Big claims all actions and consequences, all joys and sorrows. Big is willing to love unconditionally. Big is spiritually alive and willing.
While you're at it, be aware of those around you. Are you attracted to BIG people or small people? What do you see when you look at strangers and those you love? Can you see the BIG in them? If so, whisper a loving prayer: "Look up."
