This weekend wraps up the 2015 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships in Buffalo, New York. The event has already seen records being set -- that is records in spectator and broadcasting numbers. Six of the eight competing countries are broadcasting the games live and streaming on the web. Capacity crowds have filled the venue to watch the games. More and more people are becoming involved in the paralympic movement.
We are thrilled with these results, as we supported the IPC and this event with a grant as they raise awareness about parasport. Earlier in the week, we traveled to Buffalo to share in the excitement of the event, attend some of the games, and interview a few of the athletes. We look forward to sharing these interviews with our fans in a future educational piece, which will take a deeper look into parasport and how sport can be accessible to everyone.
Here are a few photos from our time in Buffalo. You can find more on our Instagram. Tune in this weekend to watch the finals!

This year's event included a Skills Competition before the games began. It was a fun event that promoted sportsmanship and good-natured competition.
