This is where it all began for our Russian Bible study project back in May 2012 --  A meeting of five Sisters in the Lord in a far away city called Chisinau in the Republic of Moldova (Kim Wier of Engaging Women Ministries and KSBJ Sunday Night Live Host also joined us as a ministry partner that trip.  She took this photo for us) 

Even though we were there to coordinate a Women's Training Conference to introduce our Romanian Bible study, Jesus the One and Only, by Beth Moore, one of these precious Sisters, Eugenia, commented that we must also consider a Russian version of the Bible study.  After all, about half of the country spoke Russian.  Without missing a beat, dear Diana looked at me and confirmed that we must indeed do this project also.  With the promise to go home to Texas and pray, that began our journey for this Bible study. 

Here we are three years later when I had the privilege to pop into the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Washington, DC a few days ago.  Such a delight to be with Diana again and her husband, Veaceslav, who works with the Ambassador.  They are looking forward to returning home to Moldova soon, so that will be wonderful to have her there when we have our next conference!

Now, we are almost done with this Russian version of

Jesus the One and Only.  Needless to say, we are celebrating!  I know we are supposed to wait for the final completion day to call it officially done, but there is no reason not to celebrate at every turn in the road!  We saw the vision in 2012 and responded with a "Yes!" to the Lord.  He then poured out His provision through you all and is making it possible to bless our Sisters in Christ abroad.   In fact, He has been doing that through you all since 2002 with all five translated Bible studies!  What faithfulness!  Please celebrate with us!
