Leadership & Positive School Culture
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Here at Free Spirit, we offer lots of practical advice for coping with bullying. One way to improve school climate and lessen bullying behaviors is to encourage kids to step into positive leadership roles. This month's Upbeat News focuses on stopping bullying before it can start by stressing the importance of giving kids a vital role in their community, illustrating leadership qualities through social stories, and showing the link between strong student leadership and improved school climate.
