Emerging Leaders Society Member Spotlight
Robert is a member of the ELS Steering Committee

A proud York County native,
I recently returned home after serving in the Marine Corps during the Global War on Terrorism following 9/11.  I'm a third-generation member of The York Water Company family, currently employed as an Assistant Superintendent in the Maintenance and Grounds Department.  I'm also a part-time student in the MBA program at York College and a Naval Academy Blue and Gold Officer who interviews, evaluates, and counsels high school students as a representative for the admissions board.  I love spending my free time with my wife, Kara, and son, JJ.

Having had the opportunity to serve in numerous countries in the Mediterranean Sea and Middle East, I know that what makes America, and south central Pennsylvania, special are the close civic ties and mediating institutions that bind communities together.  In that role, the Emerging Leaders Society fosters community growth through volunteerism, networking, and charity.  We're an organization of givers fully invested in York, working hard to preserve the prosperity earned by previous generations.  As a fellow member, I hope you'll take advantage of the opportunity to volunteer your time and money to support those in need and meet other enthusiastic young professionals committed to this community.
