Chris Brown had never turkey hunted before. As a sixth grade boy at Fayette Middle School, that left him in a minority. So when he asked me if I'd take him turkey hunting, I didn't hesitate a second before telling him I'd be proud to. What he didn't know was my plan included more than just hunting.

Pull For Conservation - St. Joseph
May 14, 2016
CFM is hosting its first regional "Pull for Conservation" shoot at Geiger Shooting Range in St. Joseph on May 14. This fun-shoot is to raise awareness of CFM. It is presented by longtime CFM Business Alliance member, Northwest Missouri Electric Cooperatives.
  
The event will consist of individual and team shooting opportunities with prizes for different shooting classes. A fish-fry lunch will be provided by the Northwest Missouri Electric Cooperatives.
  
Event Schedule:
8am-9am: Registration
9am-3pm: Shooting Begins
12pm: Open lunch 
4pm: Awards Ceremony
  
Participants can shoot individually for $35 (50 Clays) or as a two-shooter scramble team for $50 (75 Clays).

Explore the Outdoors: Kansas City

Explore the Outdoors: Kansas City is the first stop of CFM's series of regional events in 2016. The event familiarizes Kansas City residents with the outdoor opportunities in their area while they learn more about the Conservation Federation of Missouri. Attendees will enjoy auctions and a banquet in the evening. Everyone is invited!

The cost for individuals to attend includes a one-year membership to CFM. Spouses and children have a discounted family rate. Children ages six and under attend for free.

There are sponsorship opportunities for businesses. Sponsors receive ten tickets and an Iron Business Alliance Membership with their purchase.
