Soaring Seniors April Luncheon - THIS WEDNESDAY!
Our next luncheon is this Wednesday, April 27, 12:30pm in the Community Room.  Please bring a covered dish (entree, hot vegetable, salad, dessert) to share.  Cost: $5/person.  Denny and Kathy Tripcony and "Cubby" of the Canine Comfort Dog Ministry will be with us.  
School Icon Spring Musical - THIS WEDNESDAY!
The St. John's Spring Musical will be this Wednesday, April 27, at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary with another performance on Thursday, April 28, 9:30am in the Sanctuary.

Youth Group News
5th-8th grade youth group
Ever had one of those big life moments that changes plans for the weekend? The next year? Your life? Paul experienced many of these and offers a unique perspective that we will look at during the next few weeks. See you at 5:30pm down in the basement for session 2 of this study series. We will finish up with a big group game until 7:00pm!

W.H.A.T. (9th-12th grades)
We're back on to our normal schedule of greatness. We'll start off with an awesome game and finish the night off engulfed in the Word. Come join us from 6:30-8:30pm in the basement!

Esther Wessling
Esther Wessling died the morning of April 15.  Pastor Ed and Esther Wessling served the people of St. John's in the early 1980s. They were a blessing. The memorial service is Sunday, April 24, 2:00pm, at Faith Bible Chapel (6250 Wright St., Arvada). The address to send cards is:

India Transformed! Thank You! Child Sponsorships Available
A big thank you to all who helped plan for John Peter Kirubagaran's visit and participated in the various activities.  He really appreciated the warm welcome from St. John's, his "home church" in the US.

Can You Help Out With Children's Church?
Children' s Church is looking for an extra preschool teacher for the 9:30am service to help every other month. If you are interested in helping this summer please contact Kadie Cleveland at [email protected]
Would You Like to Read Scriptures Once a Month During a Sunday Service? 
We are looking for volunteers for the 9:30am and 11:15am services.  You would be emailed the scriptures ahead of time, so you can familiarize yourself the reading and the terminology.  If you would like to read or would like more info, please contact [email protected] .

Saturday Morning Women's Bible Study

Sunday Morning Bible Study
The Adult Bible Study will meet at 9:30am in the Cafeteria and we will enjoy a teaching by Dr. John MacArthur on the role of music in worship. Join us as we explore the full spectrum of what the Bible tells us about music.
