December 2015

Welcome to the latest edition of Skyrail's Tropical Focus,

This month we bring you some Australian rainforest facts. We are also excited to announce that we have partnered with the Cairns Regional Council for Tropical Tree Day.  Last month we participated in Planet Ark's National Recycling Week and ramped up our recycling efforts, something you can do at home! We also look forward to celebrating 40 years with Rainforestation Nature Park in 2016 and find out what's happening in the forest this month with Nature Diary. Plus if you are looking for family friendly accommodation in Cairns, kids stay and eat free at Holiday Inn Cairns Harbourside.

We look forward to welcoming you to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway: The World's Most Beautiful Rainforest Experience.

Fungi are often referred to as plants, but they aren't at all. Fungi make up their own kingdom which is quite different to both plants and animals. To learn more about the forest or read previous nature diaries, please click here.
