Changing Life Campaign
"A movement to shine His light in a dark world"

We are preparing to expand our program and need to raise $75,000
       Please join us!!!

Combined gross school enrollment rate

(primary, secondary) is 36%.

This means 64% have no access to education. Without education they are a slave to poverty.  Thus far Hosanna House has 3 girls graduate from college and 5 in college. We accomplished this within the last 12 years and we can do more.

Help us expand our program so that we can take in more girls from the cruel, cold and dangerous streets so that they can enjoy

a "Safe Haven" at Hosanna House
It is all for the God Glory
They were the desire of my heart...and my Daddy gave them to me. I have always wanted to help build the lives of those in need. God presented the opportunity for me when I was visiting Ethiopia. I agreed to do it trusting Him to provide and lead me all the way.

I have the pleasure of being a mother to 20 girls who affectionately call me mommy, mommita, mommisha, mommiye.....the list goes on. Now that I have tasted the water, my girls are grown and moving on, I want to do this on a bigger scale. I need you to help me help more girls who are sleeping on the streets facing danger.

I am planning to start building a house and small farm. Your contribution of any amount is appreciated.

Mekdes Getachew

Mekdes came to Hosanna House in 2004 and has been with us for twelve years. She is 22 years old and is a senior in college studying to be a nurse. She is a very bright girl and wants to continue her education in the United States. She will be receiving her bachelor's degree June 2016.

Saron Asefa
Saron has earned us quite a few awards that are hanging in our living room at Hosanna House for her academic performance. At the end of each year Hosanna House gets an award for having such an excellent daughter. In 2010 while she was seventh grade she was selected to represent Junior High students in the entire country and attended an educational planning meeting contributing her opinion on behalf of her fellow students. She is a straight A student who loves to read and study. Saron came to us in 2005 and has been an absolute blessing to us.

Rahel Mekonnen

Rahel graduated from high school June 2014 and is a 2nd year student at Addis Ababa University majoring in literature. She is a very vibrant girl who loves to sing and dance. She came to Hosanna House when she was nine years old with her twin sister Genet and is now twenty-one years of age.
IT IS A MOVEMENT  FOR THE GLORY OF GOD
Hosanna Foundation's  plan is to purchase land and start a chicken and vegetable farm in order to create a constant flow of income to the orphanage so that the program can grow and become self-sustainable.  Your donation large or small is greatly appreciated. We invite you to partner with us and help us change precious lives of girls who are in need. Together, we can be the solution to this horrendous problem. For more information please log on to www.hosannahousefoundation.org
The overall goal of Hosanna Foundation - a 501c3 non profit organization is to fulfill the great commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to care for the poor and orphans. Our program is designed to fill the gap in African countries' local community care systems by providing care for orphaned girls who have lost their parents.
