Election 2016 - The Results!

The Manitoba provincial election came to its conclusion on April 19 and as everyone knows the PC Party has an overwhelming majority lead by Premier-elect Brian Pallister. Census 2016 - This is a census year!

Starting May 2, Census Canada will be sending out census letters and packages to all Canadian households. There is also employment opportunities in the community, especially for students. Visit the Census Canada website HERE for more information.

 We know the stresses of everyday business and work life and we want to help you lighten your outlook on life. Join members and guests as we step out of our routine with an evening of fun and frivolity at Rumors Comedy Club. Feature performer is Carmen Lynch who was a finalist on Last Comic Standing and performed in Comedy Central & HBO Canada feature productions. Tickets are still on sale through the chamber office, a rainbow auction and opportunity to meet other members will round out the evening.

This is the highlight of our chamber year as we complete our business series and take the opportunity to recognize some outstanding individuals in our community and enjoy a wonderful evening out. Annual Chamber Golf Tournament - June 17 Assiniboine Golf Club

The courses are opening and it's getting close to that time of year for the  Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament. Mark your calendars for Friday June 17 at the Assiniboine Golf club. As in past years this is destined to be the premiere golf event organized by your chamber.  New format this year to allow you time to get away for your weekend. Registrations are now open - organize your foursome or register individually, a great time will be had by all.
