As the Vice Chair of the Carroll Hospice Board of Trustees, I urge you to join us for drinks and light fare at our 17th annual Taste of Carroll, this Monday, April 25, 2016 at 6pm, at the Carroll Hospital East Pavilion on Stoner Avenue in Westminster.

You will not be disappointed, as we have over 41 spectacular food vendors this year for you to sample their cuisine!

If you are interested in purchasing tickets you can go online to
www.carrollhospice.org/taste-of-carroll, call 410-871-6200 or e-mail [email protected]

Tickets are limited and available on a first-paid, first-served basis.

This event will excite your palate and support Carroll Hospice at the same time. The Taste of Carroll is Carroll Hospice's major fundraising event which makes it possible to offer not only quality home Hospice and our inpatient Dove House, but also the ability to offer bereavement programs and Camp T.R. for our youth.

It is important for community members in the Freedom District to look at and weigh in on the proposed Freedom Community Comprehensive Plan.  This plan will determine the future zoning and land use in our community for many years.  I strongly suggest that you take a look at the proposed map and attend the meeting.
The Carroll County Department of Planning and the Planning & Zoning Commission are hosting a meeting on:

April 27, 2016 from 7-9pm at the South Carroll Senior Center.

This meeting will give citizens an opportunity to speak with County planning staff and members of the Planning & Zoning Commission on the Freedom Plan. They will be soliciting the public's feedback on the plan and ways you can help shape the plan.

The plan process, as well as drafted endorsed elements, can be found on the County's website at: Freedom Community Comprehensive Plan Update
