April on the Rooftop - Week 3!
On Sunday, we are still "Hangin' Tough" with our virtue of the month, PERSEVERENCE - refusing to give up when life gets hard. This week we continued our study of Hebrews in chapter 12 verses 2-3. The kids learned that when life gets hard, remember what Jesus did for you. He endured the cross so that we can trust him with our whole lives forever. What a beautiful thing!
Promotion Sunday is coming soon, June 5, and your child will move up to their new classrooms that day. Most of our current leaders are returning in the Fall and we have given them the summer off for a much deserved break. Please consider volunteering for one or more Sundays between June 12 and August 7. Contact me at

Crosstown Kids mission project for April is to collect individually wrapped snacks for our VBS volunteer team. It takes A LOT of helpers to make our VBS awesome and we want to have plenty of goodies to feed them while they are working this summer. No peanuts or chocolate please! Donations can be placed in the bin on the stage when you come to the Rooftop on Sunday mornings!
Don't forget your Bible when you come to church and be sure to bring it to large group with you to practice looking up the story for the day.

TONIGHT! WinShape Spirit Night at Hamilton Mill Chick fil-A from 5:00pm to 8:00pm to benefit our scholarship fund at HMUMC so that we can bring kids to camp who couldn't afford to come otherwise. Please plan on joining us, you will not only enjoy a delicious meal, but participate in a family game night as well! It's going to be a blast!
