Keynote Speaker: L. Lee Knefelkamp
Professor of Psychology and Education, Teachers College, Columbia University; Senior Fellow, Office of Integrative Liberal Learning & the Global Commons AAC&U
For 30 years, Dr. Knefelkamp has researched & written about student intellectual, ethical, identity & intercultural development. She also studies curriculum transformation; issues of race, ethnicity, & gender; campus climate assessment; the psychology of organizational change & resistance to change.
Dr. Knefelkamp teaches a wide range of courses in both intercultural communication and in professional ethics. She is particularly knowledgeable in the study of ethical issues in the context of intercultural and global issues and how the ethical stances of individuals, groups, and organizations are formed in an intercultural context.
The Spring 2016 conference will be held at Tufts University, Medford Campus, in collaboration with the Tufts Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT). Our heartfelt thanks goes to the Davis Educational Foundation, whose grant to CELT provided some of the funding for the conference.
