Shamanic Sound Journey at the UUCRT Tonight!
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Rock Tavern will be hosting a Shamanic Sound Journey
by Dream Seed Sound on Friday, April 8, 2016 starting promptly at 7 pm. Donation is $20.
Dream Seed is a sound healing ensemble created by members of Golden Drum,
sacred Arts Research Foundation, Pink Sun and Didge Project. This moving, spiritual,
ceremony will include Shamanic chanting, mantras, overtone singing, Native American
son gs, indigenous music, didgeridoos, crystal singing bowls, bells, gongs, harmoniums,
tuning forks and other overtone-emitting instruments that will be used to create an
environment conducive to deep relaxation and inward investigation.
Participants are led through guided meditations and sound healing practices
designed to harmonize body, mind and spirit.
Please bring a pillow, blanket or yoga mat to sit on for those who want to sit or lay on the floor. Limited number of chairs will be available.

Volunteer for the April 30 Spiritual Arts Fair
Complementary health practitioners, inspirational workshop presenters, and spiritual intuitive teachers from throughout the Hudson Valley will convene Saturday, April 30, at the UUCRT. The Spiritual Arts and Consciousness Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 9 Vance Road.
Events and workshops will be held outdoors and indoors throughout the day. Freshly prepared, healthy food will be available at reasonable prices. A 50/50 raffle and goods and services raffle will also take place.

Jordan and Sheehan to be featured in Coffeehouse April 9
The Rock Tavern Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild,at the Unitarian Univ
ersalist Congregation at Rock Tavern, will be featuring Keith Jordan and Jim Sheehan on Saturday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. Open mic performances will be available to all. Cost of admission for this event is $6 ($5 for Folk Guild members and seniors).
Keith and Jim are both "late bloomers" who started developing their singing voices in their 40's. Both of them have been in choirs and they both studied voice with Amy Fradon. Keith and Jim have both been members of Amy's "Vocal Visionaries" which is where they met. Under Amy's guidance, the Vocal Visionaries group follows the philosophy of giving back to the community. Keith and Jim teamed up to continue growing as spiritual based musicians and have been practicing together and performing at Folk Guild coffeehouses for several years.
