Our Playmakers Program has always been a highlight of Olympic and Paralympic years for us, and this year's program was especially wonderful. For 2016 we took a group of over 30 youth to the United States Olympic Committee's Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to experience first hand what it is like to live like an elite-level athlete. The results were incredible, and the youth had an amazing time!

Read the blog to learn about our adventures at the training center and see photos from our time at the training center.

We owe a huge THANK YOU! to Candace Cable (Paralympian), Esther Lofgren (Olympian), Crissy Perham (Olympian), and Marcel Tirado of  Around the Rings
for their contributions to the success of this program. Of course, it would not have been possible without our gracious hosts, the USOC.

The whole team can benefit when peer-to-peer mentorship programs are implemented on youth sports teams. Our article addresses the risks and benefits of such a program and shares best practices for ensuring the mentorship program is a success.
