A Message from the President
|
Later this month we will kick off the Chamber's 3
rd
Annual Total Resource Campaign with this year's theme being
"The Chamber Race!"
. During an eight week period, over 60 Chamber volunteers will be calling and visiting Chamber members inviting them to become a sponsor of one of the many events we hold during the year. We are fortunate to have
Spencer Strickland,
Regional President of State Bank serving as this year's TRC Chair. Working with Spencer as Vice Chairs this year are
George Jones
with L.E. Schwartz & Son,
David Danzie
with Fall Line Contractors and
Melanie Marshall
with United Community Bank.
Sponsoring an event is a great opportunity for our members to promote themselves to the business community. There are many different events to choose from and sponsorship options range from $50 to $10,000. The money raised from the sponsorships helps the Chamber fund the programs and events that are held throughout the year and supports the economic development efforts of the Macon Economic Development Commission.
If you have any questions about the TRC, please don't hesitate to give Laura McMaster a call. She can be reached at 478-621-2029. Thank you for your continued support of the Chamber where we are working every day to make Macon
The Best Place for Business.
