Working with Your Prejudices Part 1: The Knowns
Everyone has prejudices. What impacts do we cause with our known prejudices? How can you recognize and deal with the ones we know about? What is your path forward in becoming less prejudice and more compassionate?

The 2016-17 Stewardship Campaign has launched!
We are excited to announce another anonymous gift towards the
Campaign Challenge Grant, bringing it to $3,500. This grant will match $1 for every $2 given ("one for two") over and above last year's pledge by individual members of the congregation. For example, if you increase your pledge by $200, the Challenge Grant adds another $100, so your $200 additional means a total of $300 new income!
Please be generous to help reach our goal to provide the funds for a full time minister, pay full share of our UUA/district dues, and add needed administrative hours. To reach our goal, we need everyone to consider a significant increase from last year's pledge.
There's still time to sign up for one of the following
cottage meetings; call Ann at 831-359-8096 for more information.

Book Group
Tuesday April 19th 7:00PM - Bryans Room
This next meeting will be a bit different. Bring a poem to share, some prose, or a reading from a book that you find particularly to your liking (you may even make a book suggestion from it!) We did this last year and it was a fun change of pace.
We plan a couple months ahead, so bring suggestions if you like.
All are welcome at the Book Club. Questions? Call Linda Monk at 724-4089.

Dreamwork Opportunities
Dear Friends,
No RE program would be complete without an evaluation. Please send us criticisms and suggestions about the dream group. I have already had two people ask about a new dream group at UUFSCC; so I am encouraged. Send to me, [email protected], Phoebe, [email protected] or [email protected].
Meanwhile, I want to let you know about more dreamwork opportunities coming up in our community.
There is a new Tuesday night dream group starting April 19 at the Circle Church on the west side. The facilitators plan to offer teaching of many dream work techniques. If interested e-mail Katherine Bell at krbelldreamworker.com or call 831-426-4909.
Katherine will also be hosting a booth at EARTH DAY with Madrone D'Ardenne (madronedardonne.com) called Images from Within:
Dreamscape Explorations April 16 11-4, San Lorenzo Park.
Finally, as I have told you before, Rev. Jeremy Taylor will be doing two day workshops at Marsha Hudson's on April 29 and Sept. 16. If interested contact Marsha at 831-425-8167 or check out jeremytaylor.com.

The next planning meeting for this action is Sunday, April 3rd, 4-5:30pm at the IBEW Hall in Castroville (10300 Merritt Street).
