Five-time NHRA Pro Stock world champion Jeg Coughlin Jr., driver of the Magneti Marelli by Mopar/JEGS.com Dodge Dart, has been selected by the fans as the K&N Horsepower Challenge Fan Vote winner and will fill the No. 8 starting spot in the lucrative Pro Stock bonus event.
The 32nd annual K&N Horsepower Challenge will be conducted during the DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals on Saturday, April 2 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

For the first time since 2005, the Verizon IndyCar Series will invade Phoenix Int'l Raceway this Saturday for the Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix.
The race will be the 62nd Indy car race held at the track since the track opened in 1964. Sam Hornish Jr. is the most recent Indy car winner at PIR, taking the 2005 event while driving for Team Penske.

BK Racing has announced that driver Ryan Ellis will race in multiple NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races driving the No. 93 Toyota Camry with sponsorship from ScienceLogic.
Ellis will make his debut in the No. 93 ScienceLogic Camry at Richmond Int'l Raceway on April 24.

Kyle Busch will return to the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for four starts this year beginning with Saturday's Alpha Energy Solutions 250 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.
It will mark Busch's first Truck Series start at the .526-mile oval since a second-place finish in October of 2011.
