Selected students will
get paid, hands-on experience conducting research alongside faculty advisers working on their own projects. This is an important step in learning how to conduct independent research. Assistants work 5 to 10 hours per week. Deadline to apply is April 15

Maymester Interdisciplinary Course:
Social Entrepreneurship and
Design for Social Impact
A four-week tech elective (CISE 498e, cross-listed as ENGR 498) will be offered this Maymester. The course, called "Social Entrepreneurship and Design for Social Impact," will cover topics from methods for problem seeking using design thinking to the nuts and bolts of starting an organization (e.g. nonprofit or for-profit B Corps) and developing compelling business models.
The course includes weekly local and regional field trips and guest lectures from experts who are change makers in their communities.

WHAT: Pi Sigma Epsilon's Second Annual Golf Outing. Lunch on the golf course before tournament start.
