 Assistant Program

Learn more about proper methods and approach to research projects. Apply today for the CoB Undergraduate Research Assistant Program! 

Selected students will get paid, hands-on experience conducting research alongside faculty advisers working on their own projects. This is an important step in learning how to conduct independent research. Assistants work 5 to 10 hours per week. Deadline to apply is April 15
for summer term appointments!

Maymester Interdisciplinary Course: 
Social Entrepreneurship and 
Design for Social Impact

A four-week tech elective (CISE 498e, cross-listed as ENGR 498) will be offered this Maymester. The course, called "Social Entrepreneurship and Design for Social Impact," will cover topics from methods for problem seeking using design thinking to the nuts and bolts of starting an organization (e.g. nonprofit or for-profit B Corps) and developing compelling business models.

The course includes weekly local and regional field trips and guest lectures from experts who are change makers in their communities.

can build the best app. Students form app teams
and then monetize it using AdMob.

COB 300 Application Deadline:  Apr. 1
The ASC continues to accept appointments to complete the COB 300 application for Summer 2016 and Fall 2016.  All students who plan to enroll in COB 300 for summer or fall must meet with his/her advisor for this special advising session before Apr. 1.
