APPNA Strongly Condemns Lahore Park Attack
March 27, 2016
APPNA is deeply grieved at the loss of life in the terrorist attack on Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park in Lahore on Easter Sunday. Over 69 people were killed and more than 250 have been injured in a cowardly attack on a park filled with women and children.
Minorities have been an integral part of Pakistan since its inception. APPNA notes with great consternation that minorities are being repeatedly targeted in Pakistan, in mass as well as individual attacks, and strongly condemns the repeated attacks on innocent men, women and children. APPNA urges the Government of Pakistan to do all in its power to protect its citizens.
Lahore is under a state of emergency and doctors and hospitals have sent out urgent calls for blood. APPNA urges those of its members that are in Lahore to donate blood and any help for the victims of this horrific attack.
APPNA requests its membership to donate toward the "Lahore Park Attack Fund"; APPNA will ensure that your monetary help is directed toward the victims in a timely manner. APPNA expresses its deepest condolences to the families of those killed and prays for the injured and all of Pakistan.
