Katy ISD Attendance Boundary Modification Survey
 
As the District prepares to open two elementary schools and one junior high during the 2016-2017 school year, the Board of Trustees have begun considering attendance boundary modifications to help balance enrollment numbers and provide relief to landlocked campuses exceeding 125 percent capacity. 

Parents, staff and community members can still provide feedback on the proposed Attendance Boundary Modifications (ABM) presented at last week's Board Work Study Meeting by taking the ABM survey available here. The survey closes Dec. 2.
Katy ISD Ranked Best School District in Greater Houston Area
 
Katy ISD was recently ranked as the best school district in the Greater Houston Area by Niche, a review site that provides rankings and insight into more than 120,000 K-12 schools. Katy ISD received high marks across the board, and was additionally ranked 13th among school districts state-wide. Read more...
Katy ISD Earns Place on 6th Annual AP District Honor Roll
 
Katy ISD is one of 425 school districts in the U.S. and Canada being honored by College Board with placement on the 6th Annual AP District Honor Roll for increasing access to Advanced Placement (AP) course work while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams. Participate in 14th Annual Food for Families Campaign
 
The Katy ISD community can still participate in the Food for Families Campaign to support families in need this holiday season. Those interested in participating may donate cash or check no later than Thursday, Dec. 10. Donations of any amount are welcome. Read more...
Katy ISD Parent and Patron Assistance Center

The Parent & Patron Assistance Center (PPAC) is a confidential resource that serves the Katy ISD community by helping to address concerns, complaints, conflicts and other school-related issues in an informal manner on behalf of the Superintendent. The Coordinator is available to listen to and analyze problems; identify and explain relevant District policies and procedures; and explore options for parents and patrons.
